Prototype 070: Dystopian – Rødhåd, Monoloc, Dean Paul

March 17, 2018 @ 11:00 pm - 5:00 am PDT

Dystopian:

RØDHÅD
Monoloc (Official)
Dean Paul

Saturday March 17th, Prototype brings two of Germany’s most prolific DJs to Lot 613 for a night of all out techno domination like only Dystopian knows how. Rødhåd is a DJ who has been on the global radar since 2009 when he started throwing his own club night in Berlin. The chain of events that have since unfolded for the DJ have involved frequent visits to Berghain, the launch of his infamous imprint Dystopian, which has yielded much of Rødhåd’s own music as well as releases from Recondite Alex.Do and Felix K, and appearances at the some of the worlds most forward thinking festivals and nightclubs. His soundscapes range from that glorious, unforgiving dubby techno we love him best for, which he expertly mutates into more percussive digs. Heavy-hitting releases on esteemed labels such as Stoor, Token and the much missed 50 Weapons, along with being the mastermind behind Dystopian have all contributed to his well-earned status as modern day techno legend.

Next up we have Monoloc, a DJ who has increasingly gained traction in the scene after putting forth formative releases on CLR, Synewave, Soma, Hotflush, and more recently Dystopian. It is this same enigmatic style that seamlessly transitions between techno and house that has lead him to be a regular fixture at highly esteemed clubs, parties and festivals such as Tale of Us’s Afterlife events, Hyte, Melt, Circoloco, Sub Club, fabric and Awakenings to name a few. Arrive early to see Los Angeles resident Dean Paul kick off the 70’s instalment of Prototype.
