1st Annual Long Beach Filipino Festival

May 19, 2018 @ 12:00 pm - 7:00 pm PDT

Join us for the 1st Annual Filipino Festival of Long Beach! Come and enjoy the Filipino-American cuisine, arts, performances, and vendors. Filipino celebrities, music, dance, and entertainment will be programmed for the event.

A Hip-Hop themed pavilion will be sponsored by Indie music label Beatrock Music (www.beatrockmusic.com) where upcoming Bay-Area based Pinay (term for a Filipino Woman) rapper Ruby Ibarra (IG: @rubyibarra) will perform, along with an exciting All-Star Judged DJs (DJ Icey Ice and DJ Abel) and breakdancing (B-Boy/B-Girl) contest/battle will occur.

Other activities will include a children’s pavilion with cultural games and face painting, and a historical pavilion highlighting a Filipino-American history of Long Beach. The Filipino Festival aims to promote Filipino culture by highlighting local Filipino-American individuals, businesses, and groups to advance and strengthen the community.

This event is for the whole community of Long Beach and surrounding cities, to celebrate culture, history and a deeper understanding of Filipino-Americans. We invite people of all races, ages, and backgrounds to experience our culture!

Sponsorships and vendor booths are available. Donations are being accepted as well. For more information please contact:
